Voice and Opinion 

As a community inclusive programme, your voice and opinion matters to us.
We have an open door policy to encourage everyone in our community to contribute and be part of our project, we believe by involving everyone in shaping the programme, we will achieve an agreed and sustainable outcome that benefits all.

GET INVOLVE 

Community integration is an integral part of health well-being and our project. 

We aim to work with our service users and the local community to facilitate tailored made “meaningful activities”, for our service users. Our communities are enriched with many disable user friendly accessible facilities such as; swimming pool, gym, art centres, cinema, theatres, music, cooking, gardening, dance and performing art studios. 

Our “Wellbeing Activity Team”, which comprises of an occupational therapists, nurses, care givers, volunteers and social worker will conduct a risk assessment and create activity plan according to each service user past history, ability to perform tasks, choice, preferences and best interest. We will provide a wide range of activities for our service users such as; 
Play cycle, stimulative games, sport, comedy, Watch TV, reading, literature & poetry, drama, board and card games, memory stimulation, socialising, meditation, walking, shopping, music & dancing, bbq, exercise, yoga, gardening, cooking, eating, talk therapy, art & craft, learning & sharing skills. 

By informing, consulting and engaging with the local community, Our activity team will work locally & collaboratively with the council, social service and local businesses to facilitate safe activity environment for our service users and create transparence, honest community involvement. 

We will use different form of consulting to get the local community engagement such as;

Morning cafe

we aim to get local people in a relaxing environment over a cup of tea and discuss issues that they think is beneficial and matters to the community as a whole such as isolation.

Questionaire

we have designed this to interact with the local community on issues relating to vulnerable adults with health issues and isolation in their community and their views on working together to prevent such isolation, this will be obtain by door to door, street and online engagement. 

Social Media

we aim to use different social media platforms to engage with a wider audience on their views and continuous engagement and support for our project.  We aim to use “Facebook and Twitter” to create local groups to debate/discuss issues online relating to their needs and give wider audience the opportunity to get involve and raise awareness in the community of ill health and isolation and it’s effects on vulnerable adults. 


We aim to use YouTube and Instagram to share video blogs and advert of our services and raise awareness of the effects of ill health isolation amongst vulnerable adult in our multicultural community. 


We aim to use LinkedIn and job recruitment sites such as indeed jobs to recruit volunteers as well as word of mouth amongst our local residents and communities. We will aim to attract students, professionals and retired skilled residents with a lot to give back to their community. 


We will further promote awareness of our service via local businesses, community functions and outdoor activities such as summer BBQ or Picnics in the local park.
